Twenty-eight years later, they continue to be the most sought-after dolls of Diana’s likeness for collectors.

In this article, we will delve into the Vinyl series and the accompanying wardrobe for the doll.

Diana, the second portrait vinyl doll produced by The Franklin Mint, was released in 1998 for a price of $95.00 US dollars. Initially, she was only planned to have six outfits. Nevertheless, she would eventually have a wardrobe trunk. A dress form was also included to showcase other outfits. The series would eventually include a total of 12 outfits.

*There is a Rare vinyl Diana wearing the what’s known as the Hachi gown . She was a limited edition of 100.

Christmas of 1998 was the start of the limited edition dolls of Diana .These issues would come adorning some of the Princess’s most memorable gowns she wore over the years . Today you can add the gowns and dresses by finding them on the secondary market with out the accompanying doll.
